Ski Team Important Information
Canby Ski team will have two options this year. Students may participate as a racer or as a ski club participant. Ski racers will participate in dryland practices, Thursday mountain training and races. Ski club will only participate in dryland practices and Thursday mountain training. Ski club will be a great opportunity to get students on the mountain to learn the fundamentals of skiing.
All the ski participants will be required to purchase a pass at Meadows. There are two ski pass options. Full pass and value pass. The full pass gives the student full access to the mountain with no restrictions. The value pass gives the student limited access to the mountain with restricted days. Either pass will be sufficient for Ski Team or Ski Club.
Dryland practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:15 at the school. Location TBD. Dryland starts Monday Dec 2nd. Mountain training will start January 9. Mountain training days will be on Thursdays leaving school at 3:00 returning to the school after 9:30. Students will be released at 2:40.
